TRAIN HARD.
RECOVER
SMARTER.
Your training is only as good as your ability to recover. I use 25+ years of hands-on bodywork experience to help athletes, performers and active people address muscular tension, mobility restrictions and the wear and tear that comes with asking more from their bodies.
Your Body Is Working
As Hard As You Are.
You don't have to be a professional athlete to train like your goals matter. But when recovery starts falling behind the demands you're placing on your body, performance, movement and consistency can suffer.
Persistent Tightness
The same muscles keep tightening up even though you're stretching, rolling and trying to recover.
Restricted Mobility
Your range of motion isn't where you want it, and certain movements feel limited or guarded.
Slow Recovery
Yesterday's training is still following you into today's workout and affecting how you move.
Training Plateaus
You're putting in the work, but stiffness, restriction or accumulated fatigue is making progress harder.
Overuse & Repetition
Repeated movement patterns can leave certain tissues working overtime while others compensate.
Return To Activity
You've completed or are progressing through rehab and want bodywork to complement your return to training when medically appropriate.
Your Sport Has A
Pattern.
A runner doesn't place the same demands on their body as a lifter. A golfer moves differently than a fighter. A performer has different needs than someone training three days a week.
That's why your session shouldn't come from a one-size-fits-all sports massage routine.
Understand The Demand
Your sport, training schedule, problem areas and performance goals shape the session.
Look At Movement
Relevant mobility and movement patterns help guide where we focus the work.
Work With Purpose
Techniques are selected based on what your body is showing rather than a predetermined routine.
Reassess
We pay attention to changes in comfort, mobility and tissue response as the session progresses.
You Don't Get Stronger
During The Workout.
You Adapt After It.
Training provides the stimulus. Recovery gives your body the opportunity to adapt. Sports bodywork can be one part of a broader recovery strategy alongside appropriate sleep, nutrition, mobility, training management and medical or rehabilitation care when needed.
Techniques Are Tools.
Not Upsells.
I don't charge you extra because your session calls for a different technique. If it's appropriate for your session and within my scope, it's part of the work.
Dynamic Cupping
Used when appropriate to work with soft-tissue mobility and muscular tension.
Deep Tissue
Purposeful deeper work when the tissues and goals of the session call for it.
Trigger Point Work
Focused work with sensitive and hyperirritable areas within muscle tissue.
PNF Stretching
Guided contract-relax techniques used to support mobility when appropriate.
Myofascial Work
Focused attention to restrictions throughout the body's interconnected soft-tissue system.
Percussive Therapy
Percussion may be incorporated as another tool for muscular preparation and recovery.
Assisted Mobility
Movement and stretching can be integrated with hands-on work when useful.
Integrated Bodywork
No loyalty to one technique. The work adapts according to your body and your goals.
You Don't Have To Be
A Pro Athlete.
You just have to care about what your body can do. Sports recovery bodywork can make sense for competitive athletes, performers and people who simply refuse to let an active lifestyle disappear as they get older.
What Active Clients
Are Saying.
“I was injured from soccer for over 1 month and got body work done from Johnny — fast forward 2 days later I am basically ready to get back on the field. The pain on my hip flexors and legs is extremely minimal compared to 4/10 when I came in. Highly recommend for your sports massage/body work needs!”
“The perfect addition to my knee recovery! I haven't felt this much relief in almost a year. Big thank you to Johnny!”
“Exactly the type of body work I've been looking for since I moved to Vegas! Johnny is professional, knowledgeable, and worked on my shoulder issue. I'm so happy with his work… I'm coming back next week!”
25+ Years.
Still Learning.
I've spent more than 25 years working hands-on with people — from everyday clients to athletes and Cirque du Soleil performers whose bodies are central to their profession.
That experience gives me a large toolbox, but it doesn't mean I assume every body needs the same thing. The goal is to listen, observe, work and adapt.
That's what Beyond Ordinary Results is built around.
Put Your Recovery
